Bank of Russia retains restrictions for non-residents from unfriendly states to transfer money abroad from brokerage and trust management accounts

The restrictions are applicable to funds transfers from both individuals’ and legal entities’ accounts opened with Russian brokers and trust managers. They were introduced on 1 April 2022.

This decision has been made to maintain financial stability.
